French music site, Musiquey is unequal in its category. Compared to the limited music database offered by Radioblogclub which shut down some times back, the user is offered a vast repository of songs of all kinds, to pick from.
You just search for a song using a search box found in the middle of the site(Just like Google) and you’re listed loads of music results from which you’re sure to fall on what you were looking for. Click on the Listen link beside the song to listen to it.
Even if a Download link is provided beside the Listen link, you’re told that you can’t download that song now. But such embedded content is really easy to download.
Downloading music from Musiquey
After having spotted the music you want to download, click the Listen link next to it ; that will open a new window with the player in it. In an empty area in that window, right click and choose Code source de la page(view source) in Mozilla Firefox.
You will showed an area filled with code, don’t despair ; your music file’s download link is just one step away. Hit CTRL+F and search for SoundFile, when carried there, copy the link next to the equal sign that will end with mp3 and paste that link for download in Mozilla Firefox(with Download Manager, the download may hung up). Infact instead of searching for the SoundFile keyword, you could just search for the extension of your music file. If you know, it’s an mp3 file, just hit CTRL+F and do a search for mp3 and you’ll be carried right away to the link to be downloaded. Now just make sure, you’re grabbing it correctly, the link to be copied should start with http:// and end with the extension of the music file.
